Battle of the Belt Tennessee, is a statewide friendly competition between high schools to decrease teen motor vehicle traffic accidents, sponsored by the level one trauma centers in the state, TN Dept. of Health, TN Dept. of Ed, Commissioner's Council on Injury Prevention and many others.

The fourth annual Battle of the Belt Contest for Tennessee High Schools will begin in December of 2015. 

IMPORTANT DATES in 2015 - 2016:

December 4 Participation Agreement Due
December 10  Educational Campaign Guideline Due
December 11 Submit First Seat Belt Check Data Online by 11:59 p.m.
January 4  Begin Educational Programming
January 18-29  Suggested Second Seat Belt Check (submit online within 7 days) 
March 21-31   Suggested Third and Final Seat Belt Check 
April 1   Submit Final Seat Belt Check data online by 11:59 p.m. 
April 8   Submit Scrapbook/Educational Activities online by 11:59 p.m. 

The winner of the 2014-2015 Competition was Memphis East High School.  Congratulations to East High School HOSA for their hard work to increase seat belt use!
